About the speaker

Mr. Demetris Hadjisofocli holds a BSBA in Marketing and International Business and an MBA in Strategic Planning and Entrepreneurship degrees both from The Ohio State University. He is also an LLM candidate in Patent Law and Technology at the University of Liverpool. He worked with several multinationals in the United States. He was on the founding team of the first Internet Service Provider (OARnet) and the first OnLine Library (OhioLink) in the United States.

During the last 30 years he worked for three Global Fortune 50 Companies and developed several startups. Currently he is the Managing Director of InnovADE, Ltd. an alternative business consulting firm. He is also a Teacher of various Martial Art forms for the last 30 years in the United States and Cyprus. He leverages the discipline, critical thinking, commitment, decision making and leadership skills that stem from Martial Arts to improve the confidence level and empathy among the youth, in the work environment and life in general.
